Dr. Sunil Shahane is a distinguished Orthopaedic Surgeon based in Mumbai, specializing in Arthritis and Joint Replacement Surgery.He is Professor and Head of Orthopaedics Department at Dr. R. N. Cooper Hospital and is also a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Dr. Balabhai Nanavati Hospital and Criticare Hospital.

Dr. Sunil Shahane completed his graduation from G.S. Medical College, Mumbai and did his post-graduation in Orthopaedics from KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He persuaded his further education from University of Liverpool, U.K and achieved fellowship in Arthritis and Joint Reconstruction surgery under the able guidance of Dr. C.S. Ranawat at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York, USA.

He holds the credit for being awardedthe “John Monk prize fir Anatomy” in his M. Ch. (Orthopaedics) examination and is also a distinction holder in Surgery and Biochemistry in his M.B.B.S. examinations.
